“To whom it may concern, In the summer of 2017, we were looking for an alternative for cleaning our exchanger bundles. We were currently bringing in contractors, setting up containment and bundle blasting and high-pressure lancing. The bundle blasting would only clean the outside of the bundle, leaving the inside of the bundle still filthy dirty. The material inside the tubes was so hard that we had to use 40k pressure to clean them and even then, would do a poor job. We had an enormous amount of water and waste to dispose of and the cleaning of containment and scaffold was a small fortune… When we added it up and compared actual costs, we figured we saved approximately $50,000 per exchanger bundle. In 2017 we saved Cenovus $200,000 on 4 exchangers. Since then Warco industries have cleaned approximately 100 bundles for us. Saving us 5 million dollars in the process, than if we had to clean them at site. We have also put less workers at risk running high pressure equipment and have significantly reduced our TRIF.”
